Welcome to VCU where we don't just prepare for the future - we build it.

As one of the nation's most innovative public R1 research universities, VCU brings together learning, discovery, creativity, service, and impact in ways few institutions can match. Located in the heart of Richmond, Virginia, VCU is a premier urban research university where bold ideas are encouraged, disciplinary boundaries are crossed, and ambitious scholars find the resources and community to turn vision into reality.

We are seeking an accomplished faculty member and leader to join the Information Systems Department at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. The ideal candidate will bring a bold research vision at the intersection of artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and healthcare systems. The successful candidate will be an exceptional scholar and visionary whose impactful scholarship, attracts top talent and inspires students. This is an opportunity for someone who sees possibilities rather than constraints and who is energized by building new capacity.

At VCU, you will join a community that embraces excellence, rewards innovation, and supports ambitious ideas. Your success will be backed by meaningful institutional investment, competitive compensation, strong benefits, and supportive, motivated colleagues.

We value differing perspectives and believe the most significant breakthroughs happen when talented people come together around a shared purpose.

If you are looking for a platform to help shape a field, strengthen an institution, and mentor the next generation of scholars and leaders, we invite you to learn more about this opportunity.
