Job Duties
The Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) protects the public by preparing court-involved youth to be successful citizens. DJJ is committed to excellence in public safety by providing effective interventions that improve the lives of youth, strengthening both families and communities within the Commonwealth.
The Program Operations Specialist supports the development, coordination, and delivery of violence intervention, behavioral services, and related programming within the juvenile correctional environment. This position requires comprehensive knowledge of the juvenile justice system, experience working directly with high‑risk youth, and strong administrative, analytical, and organizational capabilities.
